Introduction

Episode 12 in Season 3 of the Cipher Vision Podcast is a medley of the best snippets from across the last eleven episodes, as we recount our highlights and key takeaways from our cohort of impressive guests.

This episode features the hosts of the Cipher Vision podcast, who are:

Our Final Cipher Vision

The final episode of Cipher Vision reflects on the season’s theme, “leading the change” in intellectual property.

It covers various topics, including the importance of substantial IP rights, collaboration, licensing, and the transformative impact of AI on IP. We reflect on critical guests, both policymakers and industry experts, who emphasize the significance of IP strategy and its evolution in the patent market.

Our guests come from all walks of economics, research and development, business, and law. They all share the commitment to enabling a global economy that continues to thrive not just from a technology perspective but also a more inclusive one. When we succeed, we all succeed.

Conversely, if we fail to pay attention to the global trends and tensions, we will not be discussing the haves and have nots, but lamenting the fact that we failed to take advantage of the opportunities in front of us.

Before we sign off on this episode, I want to go on and thank you all on behalf of the Cipher team, specifically my co-host Frankie, and our production team led by Rowen Strachan, but of course, to our guests, and you, the audience for being part of a movement dedicated to constructive evolution.

Thank you for listening to the Cipher Vision podcast. We look forward to continuing the conversation in 2024 with the launch of a new IP podcast from LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions.

It’s essential for us to realize and to let people know that the current system works.  IP licensing is driven by market forces that ensure that standard essential owners are fairly compensated for their R&D investments while providing scalable access to technology that broadly enables the ecosystem.

We support further transparency in doing that, but we worry about heavy-handed government-driven approaches derived from market realities.

Stay Tuned for Our New Podcast

As we continue the conversation on bringing clarity to innovation, we can announce that the co-hosts of the new podcast will be:

  •  Tim Pohlmann, CEO and Founder, IPlytics, LexisNexis Intellectual Property
  •  Marco Richter, Global Head of Customer Success, LexisNexis Intellectual Property
